Repeat Prescriptions
We have an on-line appointments and prescriptions service. To sign up please attend surgery in person, with identification, to pick up your login details.
You can request a repeat prescription on-line (ask at reception to sign up to this free service), drop it off at surgery or Email to [email protected]. To minimise the risk of error reception staff do not take requests for prescriptions over the phone.
Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions
For 2024 charges for NHS prescriptions are:
- £9.65 per prescription item
- £31.25 for 3 month pre-payment certificate
- £111.60 for 12 month pre-payment certificate
- HRT PPC £19.30
If you pay for 4 or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, it may be cheaper to buy a pre-payment certificate (PPC). For further advice on PPCs please speak to your local pharmacist or telephone 0845 850 0030.
Appointments and Prescriptions On-Line
Our free Appointment and Prescriptions On-line service is available 24 hours a day and is especially useful for those times when the telephone lines are busy or the practice is closed. Patients can:
- Make, view and cancel GP appointments on-line;
- Request repeat medication on-line.
